Specific
- describe what it will look like/feel like when it's met
Measurable -
have some way of determining the degree to which it was met
Achievable -
be realistic, but stretch
Relevant -
ties in with longer term goals and values
Timely and
time bound - makes sense to do this year and has deadline
Note 2: When thinking, writing, or talking about these
outcomes, avoid the word "try." Use the positive affirmation - "I
will ..." to reinforce your personal commitment.
